Lumber Grades

Graded using Northeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association (NeLMA) board rule specifications as a guideline, our wood quality and consistently low moisture content is assured along with our superior milling. Our quality control manager has many years in the industry and our staff closely inspects every product to not only meet your demands, but our own rigorous standards.

Pinnacle Pine (EWP higher grade) is a combination of Standard and Premium grades. This pine’s Sound Tight Knot (STK) appearance is unequaled where a natural effect is desired.

Godfrey Engineered Log Process

We couldn't be more proud of our newest product — an engineered and laminated log manufactured from kiln-dried lumber that offers the best combination of structural integrity and good looks in the industry.

We all know that getting the water out of the log is the trick. But, by taking the log apart, kiln drying it and then putting it back together — it works — and works well! The result is a log that looks like a natural log, but is extraordinarily more strong and stable. Three generations of wood product experience are behind every Godfrey Engineered Log.
